Narrows of the Harpeth

To ring in the New Year, my man and I took a mud slathered hike around the Narrows of the Harpeth River, in Nashville TN (it had rained the night before, but we were adamant about going that we didn't stop to think about it). It's an easy little dilly through some woods and across a few bridges along the waterway. Here are a few pictures of what you might expect if you adventure off the beaten path as we did!

Afterwards, we stopped at the closest Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a sweet treat. We wanted to try their new dairy-free options: Strawberry granola and Pineapple, Mango and Tumeric smoothies. Let me just tell you, the Tumeric is definitely strong in the later one. Almost overpowering. But don't let that stop ya!
