TRAVEL…
I believe this world is incredibly beautiful and deserves to be experienced to the absolute fullest; explored and admired far and wide. I hope that my journeys- no matter how vast or minimal they might be- may encourage and inspire you to step out, and dive into the great unknown that lies beyond the confines of your comfort zone. I hope to be able to share some of my own personal lessons, errors, tips and tricks to be able to best equip and prepare you for your adventures ahead.
Oh dear, goodness gracious! I have never considered myself more lucky, or God’s timing so right as to allow me to leave Italy before the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis absolutely rocked this small country to the core.
So, maybe you’ve heard of something like this, but you don’t really know anything about it or what it involves. If you’re like me, maybe you’ve got a gap year or an itch to travel, a desire to find yourself, but there’s something holding you back.
I might have already told you this story. But I feel as though it’s so incredibly magical, that I wanted to be sure that I wrote it out to share it on this platform. That way I could make sure that all the details were there, it could be preserved for a long time, and to also include some special photos to go along with it.
Why do we go to these places? Take away the urge to go to a popular location to take a picture with the intentions of posting it on social media- why do we go to these places? Does a place needa “pic” or it doesn’t exist? For someone who really, genuinely wants to be present in a naturally beautiful place for the pure love of it, it shouldn’t matter how many times it has been featured.
So here’s the thing. I have this dream- to travel the world. A road trip across the US in a van would completely suit my fancy. There is simply so much to see and to be experienced and so little time (especially with so much of it either melting or going under water). But rather than wasting time and wishing to be in a situation other than where I am now, I’ve decided to enjoy the journey.
Here are a few pictures of what you might expect if you adventure off the beaten path as we did!
I commute to China for work every morning, and I absolutely LOVE it! Not to mention that it doesn’t matter where I am physically located (I’ve traveled to Italy and other places in the US), all I have to do is have internet and my computer (and a few props) and I’m able to tap into this incredible opportunity.
